NATCHEZ — Services for Frank Felton, 50, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, in Sibley, with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Felton was born Nov. 24, 1960, in Natchez, the son of James Felton Sr. and Catherine Felton. He was a 1979 graduate of North Natchez High School. His last employment before his illness was at Gene’s Tires.

Mr. Felton was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Kent and Luvenia Felton and David and Warnetta Morgan; one grandson, Jonathan Dunbar Jr.; and two brothers, James Felton Jr. and Savontay Christmas.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Gloria Edna Jones Felton; his mother; one son, LaTroy Felton and wife, Reji, of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Tunisi Felton and husband, Fred, and RaShunda Felton and husband, Jonathan, all of Natchez; a special grandson, John Wesley Thomas; seven other grandchildren; mother-in-law, Bessie Jones of Natchez; six sisters, Dianne Tenner and husband, Phillip, Saundra Stumps and husband, Arthur, Cordelia Felton and Sandra Davis and husband, John, all of Natchez, Muralee Bates and Cynthia Malone, both of Gulfport; four brothers, Henry Jones and wife, LaRenza, Clarence Jones, Michael Demby and Laquan Christmas; three sisters-in-law, Annie Wilson and husband, Arthur, Delores Green and husband, Adolph, and Elores Brown and husband, Edward, all of Natchez; special in-law family, Kenneth Ray Walker Sr. and wife, Ruth, of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Bassett, Demetrice Davis, Warren Gaines, Emmanuel Jones, Teri Jones and Raymond Cobb Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Tenner, Travis Tenner, Kenneth Ray Walker Sr. and Antwan Wilson.
