Mrs. Fields was born Jan. 31, 1967, in Natchez, the daughter of E. Eugene “Gene” Dauphin Jr. and Evelyn Reed Dauphin. She was a lifelong resident of Natchez and member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of the Education Center in Jackson and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She was employed by Secan Oil Company and Colt Energy as well as working part-time in catering and hospitality for Natchez Coffee Company.

Holly was an exceptionally compassionate and outgoing person — strong yet kind-hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Above all, she loved her family dearly. She often liked to work behind the scenes and took pride in handling all the logistics so that friends and family could relax and enjoy themselves.

Holly was in touch with her heritage, loved history and cared about animals. She was also active in several civic organizations throughout her life that mirrored her interests. She was a member of the Krewe of Alpheus, serving as both queen (2002) and royal duchess (1993.) She was selected by Premier Expeditions in 1996, to be a member of “Titanic: The Exploration,” where the RMS Titanic was extracted from its maritime location in the Mid-Atlantic Ocean. Furthermore, she was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and a caring volunteer for the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.

She enjoyed spending time in her flower garden, cooking, decorating and antiquing. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Louis “Louie” Eugene Dauphin; maternal grandparents, Capt. Louis E. and Beatrice Beech Reed; and paternal grandparents, Eldridge Eugene Sr. and Thelma Wilson Dauphin.

Survivors include her mother of Natchez; her father and his wife, Mildred, of Natchez; two brothers, Benjamin Wilson Reed Dauphin and wife, Barbara, of Kingwood, Texas and Jason Edward Dauphin of Natchez; one niece, Lauren Dauphin Hoggatt; one great-nephew, Austin Lee Hoggatt; and her companion, Lee Harvard, all of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Bryant, Pete Cantu, Brad Fondren, Allen Gunn, Ross Hufford and John Ward Junkin.

The family extends special thanks to Darby Short, Toby Williams, Sue Goss and Casey Young.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Natchez-Adams County Humane Society, 392 Liberty Road, Natchez, MS 39120.
