Mr. and Mrs. Harold Milton Whittington Jr. of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayce Lauren Whittington to Brett Alan Hinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dennis Hinson of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez. She attended Mississippi State University in Starkville and is a graduate of Magnolia College of Cosmetology in Jackson. She is employed by Barnette’s Salon in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Sue Jackson and the late Billy G. Jackson of Ridgecrest and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Milton Whittington of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is a graduate of Mississippi College in Clinton. He will receive his master’s degree from Mississippi College in August.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Gloria Jean Gilmore Cupit and the late George Devonne Cupit of Vidalia and the late Carolyn Speed Hinson and the late Lawrence Jefferson Hinson of Ferriday.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Weymouth Hall in Natchez. A reception will follow.
