WOODVILLE – Services for Margaret Floyd Robertson, 79, of Woodville, who died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Newman Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with the Rev. Warren Whitaker and the Rev. Jeff Eastwood officiating.

Burial will follow at Will Floyd Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Woodville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the funeral home.

Mrs. Robertson was born Dec. 24, 1931, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Willie Marshall Floyd and Lavicie A. Partin Floyd. She employed as a store clerk.

Mrs. Robertson was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who loved to cook and take care of her family and pets. She was a devoted Christian and will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Samuel Melvin Robertson; three sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda O’Malley and husband, Billy, Carolyn Davis and Judy McDowell, all of Natchez; one son, Samuel M. Robertson Jr. of Woodville; five grandchildren, P.J. Pevey of Brookhaven, Kelly Olive of Woodville, Tom Davis of Crosby, Maj. Josh Robertson of Sumter, S.C., and Samantha Robertson of Hattiesburg; and three great-grandchildren, Will and Peyton Olive, both of Woodville, and T.J. Davis of Crosby.
