NATCHEZ — Services for Elnora Wilson, 79, of Crosby, who died Thursday, June 9, 2011, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Nathaniel Baptist Church in Centreville.
Burial will follow Woodlawn Cemetery in Gloster, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
Ms. Wilson was born May, 21, 1932 in Coles, the daughter of Napoleon and Altha Cage Wilson. She was baptized at an early age at Bonds Chapel CME Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary W. Kent and Nan Urquhart; five brothers, William Wilson, Henry Wilson, Vernon Wilson, Charles Wilson and Elmo Wilson.
Survivors include two daughters, Daisy Wilson and Brinda Wilson and husband, Bobby, both of Crosby; two sons, Carl Wilson and Sam Wilson, both of Crosby; five grandchildren, LaVonda Griffin and husband, Douglas Sr. both of Crosby, Sam Hoggatt of Natchez, Cierra Parker of Crosby, Bobby Parker of Crosby and Candace Wilson of Riverside, Calif.; two brothers, Robert H. Wilson Sr. and wife, Patricia, of Gloster and Napoleon Wilson and wife, Gertrude of Oxnard, Ca.; two sisters, Flora Miller of Crosby and Jeannette Evans of Trenton, N.J.; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
