FAYETTE — Services for Bessie R. Frye, 79, of Fayette, who died Monday, June 13, 2011, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Frye was born Aug. 19, 1931, in Natchez, the daughter of Jimmie and Anna Fulton Jones.

She was on the motherboard and a member of the Women’s Ministry at St. Mariah Baptist Church.

Mrs. Frye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adam Frye Sr.; one sister, Josephine Simmons; three brothers, John R. Jones, Jessie Jones and James Jones.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara White and husband, Ray, Joyce Lee and husband, Jerry, and Brenda Doss and husband, Lee; one son, Adam Frye Jr. and wife, Stella; three sisters, Irma Ivory and husband, Willis, Rebecca Felton and Mildred Smith; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
