NATCHEZ — Two Natchez residents won the gold medals Sunday at the State Games of Mississippi’s annual cycling tournament in Meridian.

Scott Kuppersmith won the overall gold medal, as well as the gold medal at the gold medal in the men’s 30-39 division. Kuppersmith edged Gulfport resident Robert Driskell, who came away with the silver medal.

Natchez resident Lena Yarbrough also brought home the gold for her community, winning the women’s 30-39 division.

The tournament was a one-day event.
