NATCHEZ — Services for Dorothy Marie White Minor, 55, of Natchez who died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at King Solomon Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie D. Schiele officiating.

Burial will follow at Clearmount Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Minor was born July 3, 1955, in Natchez, the daughter of the Rev. Robert and Nancy C. White. She was retired from Gulf Coast Community Service in Houston, Texas and was a member of Queen Ester Chapter No. 1, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

Mrs. Minor loved God and shared the Bible with everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by father; one sister, Janie Conway Miles; and one nephew, Michael Demond White.

Survivors include her mother of Natchez; one daughter, Kimberly R. Minor; four goddaughters, Sharteta S. White and Althea S. White, both of Natchez, and Bernice L. White and Sylvia White, both of Irving, Texas; four brothers, the Rev. Michael White and wife, Joyce, of Port Gibson, Edward White, Robert White Jr. and Walter White and wife, Debbie, all of Natchez; five sisters, Lydia Seals and husband, Anthony, Deloris Davis and husband, Tommie, Nancy A. White, Charlene White and Gwendolyn White, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Masonic brothers.
