NATCHEZ — Services for Charles Bernard, 75, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 17, 2011, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. today at Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Bernard was born March 26, 1936, in Natchez, the son of Gene and Annie Bernard. He attended Natchez public schools and was employed by Coca Cola Bottling Company for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include a loving daughter, Cynthia Skipper; four grandchildren, Rickeria, Rinaysha, Raven and Parnell; Cynthia’s brother, Artemus Cardell Skipper and wife, Annie; two special friends, John Johnson and Chuck Latham; and a number of other relatives and friends.
