FERRIDAY — Services for Henrietta Byous James, 104, of Natchez, who died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jessie Banks officiating.

Burial will follow at Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. James was born Dec. 5, 1906, in Vidalia, the daughter of Nelson and Josephine Brown Byous. She was a retired radiologist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jasper James; and all three siblings, Morris Brown Woodfork, Walter Peter Brown and Cleopatra Byous Robinson.

Survivors include two nephews, Morris White and wife, Veronica, of Macon, Ga., and Randolph Robinson and wife, Carolyn, of Houston, Texas; two nieces, Emelda Robinson Douglas and husband, Roy, of Humble, Texas and Catherine Lyons Cartwright and husband, Oliver, of Vidalia; six great-nieces and nephews, Morris White Jr. and Imani White, both Macon, Alicia Douglas and Alexander Douglas, both of Humble, and DeAndre Robinson and Jerrick Phillips, both of Houston; and a number of other relatives and friends.
