JONESVILLE — Services for Edna Marie LaCroix, 53, of Jonesville, who died Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Perry Gardner and the Rev. Emmitte Belgard officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. LaCroix was born March 25, 1958, in Jonesville, the daughter of Louis Darwin Cockerham and Hazel Dayton. She was a phlebotomist at Riverland Medical Center and was also a member of Grace Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her pateranl grandparents, V.B. and Katie Cockerham and maternal grandparents, Alfred and Daisy Bass.

Survivors include her husband, James LaCroix; her father of Kelly, La.; her mother and her husband, Kirby, of Manifest, La.; one son, Jason LaCroix and wife, Codie, of Whitehall, La.; one daughter, Jana Finley and husband, DeWayne, of Rayne, La.; one brother, Louis Cockerham Jr. and wife, Paula, of Texas; one sister, Paula Hale and husband, Delan, of Franklinton, La.; two grandsons, Gavin LaCroix and Luke Finley; and four granddaughters, Makayla Finley, Gracie LaCroix, Avery Finley and Lily LaCroix.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Brazell, Alvin Sanson, Larry LaCroix, Bobby Wilson, Dicky Wilds and Israel Kimbrough.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Grace Baptist Church.
