NATCHEZ — Services for Marguerite Ford Brown, 77, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Promise Hospital of the Miss-Lou, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.

Burial will follow at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Brown was born Feb. 1, 1934, in Natchez, the daughter of Leon and Sarah Ford. She attended Natchez-Adams County public schools and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Brown served as an usher for more than 40 years and also served on the Mother’s Board.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one child; her parents; and nine siblings.

Survivors include three brothers; two sisters; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
