Donna Bacon-Woodis of Natchez announces the engagement of her daughter, Brittney Woodis to Karlesio Richardson, son of Valarie Richardson of Natchez Karl Richardson of New Orleans.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Clarence and Ruby Bacon of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mary Bass and Doretha Holmes, both of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday.

A reception will follow at the Natchez Convention Center.
