FERRIDAY — Graveside services for infant Ar’Kalen Lamarc Meredith, who died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 10 a.m. today at Ferriday Cemetery with evangelist Velma Meredith officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Ar’Kalen was born July 26, 2011, in Alexandria, the son of Tanchicca Meredith.

Survivors include his mother; one sister, A’Ziyah Meredith; maternal grandparents, Marilyn Cauley and Isaac Spurs Jr.; godmother, Jerica Harris, all of Ferriday; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
