MEADVILLE — Services for Cordilia “Dee” Roberts, 75, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glen Harrigill officiating.

Burial will follow at McNair Cemetery in Roxie under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts was born Feb. 17, 1936, in Robinson, Ill., the daughter of Allen G. Boa and Bonnie G. Newbold Boa. She was a homemaker and a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George E. “Papa” Roberts; one daughter; and one grandson.

Survivors include special friend, John Meche; one daughter, Denise Roberts of Fayette; two sons, Michael L. Roberts of Roxie and Glen Roberts of Fayette; two brothers, Alan Boa of Ferriday and Pat Boa of Unice, Germany; two daughters-in-law; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
