WILDSVILLE — Services for Shirley White Gann, 68, of Terrell, Texas, who died Thursday , July 28, 2011, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Evangeline Baptist Church in Wildsville, with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler and the Rev. Leon Zordan Jr. officiating.

Private internment services will be at Pease Cemetery at a later date under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Mrs. Gann was born Sep. 5, 1942, the daughter of Herman and Effie Paulk White. She passed away at her home, and was surrounded by her daughter, Tosha White and grandchildren, LeAnn and Conner Holloman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Walter E. White, Jack T. White, Archie Lloyd White and his wife, Norma and Herman Ray “Pete” White and a sister, Majorie White Book and her husband, Nasif.

Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Tosha White; two grandchildren, LeAnn Jolynn Holloman and Conner Jesse Holloman, both of Jonesville; three brothers, H.C. White of Jonesville, Carvel White and wife, Adrian of Wildsville and Jimmy White and wife, Caludia of Mobile, Ala.,; two sister-in-laws, Norma White Zordan of Jonesville and Markeeta White Taber of Newella, Okl. and numerous nieces and nephews who adored her and will miss her greatly.
