NATCHEZ — The first day of school for any kindergartner means figuring out just what school is all about. Stepping away from home where everything is “mine” and into a classroom where students must share can be a daunting lesson.

But learning where — and how — they fit in comes quickly when the order of the classroom includes a space that can be “mine.”

Trinity started school Monday.

The Natchez-Adams School District and Cathedral School started classes last week. Adams County Christian School will start on Thursday.
