FERRIDAY — Services for Amber Chantel Elkins, 20, of Humble, Texas, who died Sunday, July 31, 2011, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
A previous service was at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Friendswood, Texas.
Ms. Elkins was born April 5, 1991, in Austell, Ga., the daughter of Michael G. Elkins and Shani L. Wilson.
Amber was a loving daughter, mother and friend to a number of people and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Leonard Rogers Jr. and James Edward Wilson and special Nanny, Mary Gene Keith.
Survivors include one daughter, Ava Nicole Ferrata of Madisonville, Texas; her mother and her husband, Matt Kilpatrick, of Humble; her father and his wife, Lisa, of Cleveland, Ga.; one sister, Ashley Davis of St. Louis, Mo.; four brothers, Cam Michel and Landon Kilpatrick, both of Humble, Dylan Keith of Ferriday and Leityn Evans of Gainesville, Ga.; three stepsisters, Lacey Kilpatrick, Kayla Kilpatrick and Megan Kilpatrick, all of Cypress, Texas; grandmothers, Sherry Wilson of Ferriday and Donna Rogers of Winston, Ga.; aunts and uncles, Schroder and Michelle Wilson of Dallas, Georgia, Jason and Brittany Wilson, all of Natchez. Billy and Sharla Kimball of Vidalia, Shonda Vilone of Delaware, Shalaina Herring of Monroe, La., Steve and Terrie Elkins of Winston, Ga., Bobby and Janet Elkins of Pottstown, Pa., Railynn Ivie and Jessie Roger, both of Douglasville, Ga.; two nephews, Gage and Gavan Michel of Atascocita, Texas; and a number of cousins.
