FERRIDAY — Services for Clorise Jean Saulsberry Green, 53, of Lake Charles, La., formerly of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Walter LaFleur officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Green was born Feb. 21, 1958, in Ferriday, the daughter of Ledell Saulsberry and Willie Mae Beckwith.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include three sons, Cedrick and Frederick Saulsberry, both of Ferriday, and Maurice Davis of Monroe, La.; three daughters, Jewanda Smith of Lake Charles, LaKeidra Davis of Ferriday and Tykita Bethley of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, Royce and Dexter Miles, both of Alexandria, La., and Darryl Miles of Ferriday; one sister, Briggette Lewis Morales; godsister, Sandra Davenport; godbrother, Ronald Wilkerson, all of Ferriday; Kirkland Watson of Jacksonville, Fla.; special nephew, Maurice Smith of Ferriday; 11 grandchildren; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
