FERRIDAY — Services for Jim T. Huff Jr., 59, of Waterproof, who died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, in Waterproof, will be at 2 p.m. today at Sevier Memorial United Methodist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Ray Varnado officiating.
Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the church.
Mr. Huff was born May 11, 1952, in Newellton, the son of Jim T. Huff Sr. and Patsy Ruth Huff. He was a chemical engineer, pilot and a farmer.
Mr. Huff was a member of Sevier Memorial United Methodist Church. Jim was an outdoorsman and passionate about camping in the mountains and horseback riding.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred Wayne Eskue and Beatrice Leona Maddox Eskue and father-in-law, Kenneth K. Killen.
Survivors include his wife, Nan Killen Huff; one daughter, Jimmy Jo Little and husband, Jack; his parents; and three brothers, Benny Wayne Huff, Johnny Huff and Patrick Huff.
Pallbearers will be Berry Wayne Huff, Jack Little, John Daye Huff, Ken Killen, Mike Person and Patrick Huff.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Huff, Bryant Killen, Charles Gibson, Chris Gibson, Donnie Lance, Greg Bostick, Kyzar Huff, Orrin James, Thomas Taylor and Tom Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Sunshine Shelter, 409 N. Union St., Natchez, MS 39120.
