BROOKHAVEN — Services for Retha Ann Campau, 94, of Brookhaven, who died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, will be at 10 a.m. today at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Franklin County with Bro. Tom Griffin officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Campau was born July 5, 1917, in Franklin County, the daughter of Grady Freeman and Retha Thornton Freeman. She was retired from Kellwood Company as a secretary. She was also a member of Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Eddie Mullins and McKinley Campau; one daughter and her husband, LaNell Cothren and James “Jot” Cothren; and one grandson, Michael Paige Cothren.

Survivors include one son, the Rev. Glen Mullins and wife, Pat, of Brookhaven; one half-sister, Veda Freeman of Smithdale; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
