Charles and Shari Parks of Ferriday announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyson Corey Parks to Adrian Barrett Kiser, son of Rusty and Pam Kiser of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is employed by Snap Fitness in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Donald and Marilyn Hodges of Ferriday and the late Charles Parks and Ms. Beverly Record.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Huntington High School in Ferriday and attended Northwestern University. He is employed by Hercules Offshore Drilling.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Smith and the late Bernie Kiser and Kathryn Kiser, all of Ridgecrest.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Dunleith Plantation in Natchez.

A reception will follow at 6 p.m. at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center.

Family and friends are invited.
