Addie Phillips Willingham

VIDALIA— Services for Addie Phillips Willingham, 84, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia with the Rev. John Matthews and the Rev. Rick Munn officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Willingham was born June 11, 1927, in Sunflower, the daughter of Ephriam Taint Phillips and Vennie Dill Phillips. She was retired from the Concordia Parish Clerk of Courts Office and was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidalia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charles D. Phillips, Max Phillips and W.A. Phillips and two sisters, Louise McNeer and Dora Lee Stanley.

Survivors include her husband, Perry V. Willingham of Vidalia; her daughter, Nancy Thompson and husband, Jackie or Hazlehurst; son, Perry J. Willingham and wife, Irene of MerRouge, La.; sister, Martha Terrell of Collierville, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Phillips of Greenville; grandson, Christopher Willingham; four granddaughters, Tami Willingham, Ami McDonald, Jennifer Walker and AliceClaire Thompson and two great-granddaughters, Mary Hampton Walker and Gracie Layne Willingham.

Pallbearers are Danny Grayson, Perry Morgan, Danny Cobb, Brandt Walker, Gerald Frasier and Mike Edmonson.
