FAYETTE — Services for Herman Wilson Hamberlin, 67, of Fayette, who died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fayette, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill No. 2 Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Bude.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Hamberlin was born June 23, 1944, in Jefferson County, the son of Emile and Douglass Hamilton Hamberlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one sister, Jacqueline Brownlow; four brothers, McKinley Hamberlin and Keith, Emile Hamberlin and Minnie, all of Chicago, James Hamberlin and Julia and Lavern Hamberlin and Mary, all of Fayette; five nieces, Pamela, Shelia, Melinda, Angela and Lakeitha; six nephews, Emile III, Shawn, Mark, Shane, Byron and Darius; and many other relatives and friends.
