FROGMORE, La. — Services for Inez Maxine Jefferson, 58, of Jackson formerly of Frogmore, who died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. L.B. Oliver officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Jefferson was born Feb. 21, 1953, in Frogmore, the daughter of Lige and Annie Green Jefferson.

Ms. Jefferson was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Selena and Jerome Jefferson; two brothers, Tommy and Lige Jefferson Jr.; three sisters, Lucy Jefferson, Hattie Jefferson and Mary Jefferson.

Survivors include one son, Richard Jefferson and wife, Diedra, of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Annie B. Jefferson of Jackson, Ruby Smith and husband, Benjamin, of Denver, Francis Jefferson of Natchez and Thelma Jefferson of Washington, D.C.; six brothers, Curtis Jefferson of Jackson, Roger Jefferson and wife, Dalphane, of Atlanta, T.J. Jefferson and wife, Helen, of New Orleans, Samuel Jefferson, Percy Jefferson and wife, Hazel, and Danny Jefferson and wife, Diana, all of Ferriday; and seven grandchildren.
