FERRIDAY — Services for Sandra “Joy” Dollar Vestal, 63, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Clayton, who died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, will be at 1 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny Braswell officiating.

Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vestal was born Aug. 19, 1948, in Clayton, the daughter of Arthur Ambrose Dollar and Ruth Eunice Dollar.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patricia Sowell.

Survivors include two daughters, Sheri Suzanne Vestal and Joni Michelle Vestal, both of Baton Rouge; one grandson, Griffin James Townsend of Baton Rouge; one brother, Duval Dollar and wife, Ann, of Kingsford, Tenn.; and one sister, Cheryl Dollar Poole of Natchitoches, La.

Pallbearers will be Jamey Townsend, Jimmy Lavergne, John W. Vestal, Mike Meagher, T.J. Vestal and Tommy Vestal.
