NATCHEZ — Services for Laura Mae Wallace, 91, of Brandon and formerly of Natchez, who died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 in Jackson will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Berry officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wallace was born July 31, 1920 in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Wilber Beckham and Ida Mae Fuglar Beckham.

She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, the Natchez Chapter No. 75 Eastern Star, an active member of Natchez Homemakers and a member of the Farm Bureau Association for many years.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Woodrow Wallace and her brothers.

Survivors include three sons, Ronnie Berkemeyer and wife, Barbara, of Brandon, Erick Wallace of Charlotte, N.C., and Daniel Wallace and wife, Rhonda, of Pearl; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one brother, Wilber Lee Beckham and wife, Betty, of Woodville.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bonham, Buddy Hankinson, Brian Hankinson, Jonathan Wallace, Clifton Wallace and Phillip Troisclair.
