MANIFEST, La. — Graveside services for Wreatha Joyce “Rita” Holloway, 71, of Jonesville, who died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Columns Nursing Home in Jonesville, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La., with Dorothy Stone officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Holloway was born Aug. 8, 1940, in Indiana, the daughter of John Clyde Favors and Maggie Riley Favors. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Holloway was Pentecostal.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Ronald Lee Favors, Wayne Favors, Robert Favors, Edward Favors and Russell Favors; two sisters, Janie Cooper and Mary Menard; and one granddaughter, Joyce Ketchens.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, James Holloway; one daughter, Tammy Bruinsma and husband, Jacob, of Washington; three brothers, Morris Favors, John Favors and Roy Favors, all of Indiana; one sister, Meredith Sue Cropper of Indiana; one granddaughter, Shanna Hough; and one great-granddaughter, Emily Hough.
