NATCHEZ — Services for Alberta Toney, 87, of Natchez, who died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at Sterling Place Nursing Facility in Baton Rouge, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Fallon officiating.

Burial will follow at Lagrange Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

A Rosary will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

Mrs. Toney was born Sept. 18, 1923, in Adams County, the daughter of Phil Holden and Frances Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Sam Toney.

Survivors include one sister, Luella Jackson of Natchez; one niece, Bertha Green and husband, Luke, of Summit; one great-niece, Sharon Washington of Baton Rouge; one great-great-niece, Travia Hardin of Baton Rouge; one great-nephew, Lionel Washington of Summit; 13 other nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
