NATCHEZ — Services for Irlan John Rudisill, 92, of Natchez, who died Tuesday Sept. 20, 2011, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Parkview Church of God with the Rev. Victor Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Rudisill was born Feb. 27, 1919, in Wilda, La., the son of John H. Rudisill and Ora Amanda Clark Rudisill. He was a member of Parkview Church of God.
Mr. Rudisill was also a member of Masonic Order, Harmony Lodge No. 1 and Andrew Jackson, Rosalie Commander No. 5, Order of the Eastern Star and Wahabi Shrine Temple. He was a World War II veteran.
Mr. Rudisill was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sherry Rudisill Johnson; one sister, Floy Rudisill Long; and a brother, Alton Rudisill.
Survivors include his wife, Maudie Rudisill; two daughters, Ellen Rudisill and Marilyn R. Gonsiorek, both of Fort Worth, Texas; one son, Dennis Irlan Rudisill of Pine Bluff, Ark.; three grandchildren, Mary Ellen Gonsiorek and Lisa Rene Gonsiorek, both of Fort Worth and Kenneth Jay Owens of Flower Mound, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Connor Irlan Owens, Ryan Jay Owens and Brady Clark Owens.
Pallbearers will be Masonic brothers.
