NATCHEZ — Services for Juanita Love Carter, 61, of Flowood, who died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. James E. Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Carter was born March 22, 1950, in Holcomb, the daughter of Charlie Green Love and Lannie Bryant Love.

She was a BAD girls regular attendee at Bible study, a devoted volunteer at My Father’s House and captain of a team for Mississippi Walk for Diabetes. She was very involved at her church and the community of Flowood.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

Survivors include two loving daughters, Angela Brooks and husband, Ronnie, and Katrina James and husband, Eddie, all of Natchez; four grandchildren, Arenita, Travarras, Ronnie Jr. and Angel; one sister, Doris Bracey of Chicago; five brothers, William Love and wife, Charlie, of Chicago, Jimmy Love and wife, Eva, and Charlie Love Jr., all of Natchez, Donald Love of Norfolk, Va., and Renee Love and wife, Carolyn, of Itta Bena; a loving and devoted companion of 14 years, Calvin D. Smith of Flowood; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
