NICEVILLE, Fla. — Services for retired Lt. Col. Thomas A. Brocato, 66, of Niceville, Fla., who died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
Burial will follow with military honors at Heritage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Thomas was born in Shreveport, La. He was a 1962 graduate of Cathedral High School.
He served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force and continued to serve his country as a defense contractor in the Aerial Targets Branch.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Ann Brocato; one son, Michael Brocato and wife, Diana, of Niceville; one daughter, Michele Brocato Ellis and husband, Charles, of Newman, Ga.; three grandchildren, Jacob Logan, Haylee and Michaela Brocato; two sisters, Rose Mary Edwards and husband, Norman, of Vidalia and Diana LeBlanc and husband, Tommy, of Plaquemine, La.; one brother, John Charles Brocato and wife, Debbie, of Vidalia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
