NATCHEZ — A Natchez man has been arrested and charged in connection with the August burglary of a residence on Cherokee Street, Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said.

Mullins said Devon C. Green, 24, 198 Morgantown Road, was arrested Thursday after investigations into a report from a homeowner in the 300 block of Cherokee Street. The homeowner reported someone had kicked in the back door of the home and stolen a 52-inch television and a Playstation.

Mullins said police are still working to recover the stolen items. He said there is no bond for Green until arraignment.
