NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Curtis Nelson, 92, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pry’s Temple Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Nelson was born May 12, 1919, in Adams County, the daughter of Richard and Ophelia Harris Curtis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Nelson; one daughter, Willie Mae Favor; and one grandson, Melvin Tucker.

Survivors include one son, Harold E. Curtis; one son-in-law, Mark Favor; two sisters, Rosie White and Beatrice C. Stevenson; a special niece, Helen Porterfield; two great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; one great-great-grandson; and a number of other relatives and friends.
