W. David Roberson and Susan Arseneau of Richardson, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Marlena Roberson to Bret Foster Dawson, son of Joyce Dawson and the late Foster Robert Dawson of Cumbria, England.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ruby “Patsy” Arseneau and the late Frederick A. Arseneau of Natchez and William O. Roberson of Houston, Texas, and the late Laura Mae Seaton of Crockett, Texas.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Doris Watson and the late Archie Watson of Cumbria and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dawson of Australia.

The couple will be married at a private family ceremony Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Chateau at Midtown in Houston, followed by a wedding trip to Europe.
