PATTISON — Services for Sam “Sammie Baby” Camphor, 59, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at his residence, will be at noon Saturday at Mount Burner Missionary Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Camphor was born March 23, 1952, in Mississippi, the son of Charlia Sr. and Vivian Reed Camphor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph J. Camphor.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Cynthia Moore Camphor; two daughters, Annie Norton and husband, Curtis, and Felecia Moore and husband, Toby, all of Natchez; three sons, Sam Trask, Corey Camphor, both of Houston, Texas, and Patrick Moore and wife, Brittany, of Natchez; one sister, Mary C. Williams and husband, Lewis, of Jackson; five brothers, Arthur L. Camphor and wife, Irna Rae, of Pattison, Charlia Camphor Jr., Sullivan Jack Camphor, Steve David Ellis Camphor, all of Jackson, and Andrew Camphor and wife, Lisa, of Flora; one aunt, Pauline Buckhalter; his mother-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
