Natchez — Graveside services for John R. “Sonny” Ogden, 65, of Natchez, who died Oct. 11, 2011, at the V.A. Medical Center in Jackson will at noon Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.

Burial will follow in the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ogden was born June 1, 1946, in Jonesville, La., the son of Felcer Alexander Ogden and Evelyn Juanita Conner Ogden. He was a retired crane operator for Adams County. Mr. Ogden served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Willie Ogden.

Survivors include his two daughters, Lisa Goodman and Kimberly Ogden; one grandson, sister Debra McNeely and her husband W.F. McNeely and four nieces.
