FERRIDAY — Services for Randale Ellis “Randy” Taylor, 55, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Don Bush and the Rev. Preston Holder officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Randy was born April 5, 1956, in Meadville, the son of Ellis Taylor and Virgie Taylor. He was employed by Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher and was also employed by Riverland Medical Center.
Randy had attended Faith Bible Institute in Monroe, La., were he received his doctorate in bible theology. He was member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father; one sister-in-law, Dianne Taylor; and one nephew, Storm Cangemi.
Survivors include his wife, Letha Taylor; four daughters, Stephanie Henslee and husband, Brent, Jessica Davis and husband, John, Amanda Cummings and Haley Kepper; six grandchildren, Randy, Amie, and Chase Henslee, Jonah, Jaxon, and Jon Tyler Davis; his mother; one brother, David Taylor and wife, Kathy; two sisters, Connie Seyfarth and husband, William, and Tammy Taylor; four nieces, Missy Cangemi and husband, Paul, Abby Taylor, Dana McGivaren and Janeé Arnold; three nephews, Heath Seyfarth and wife, Amanda, Jason Taylor and Shane Seyfarth; one great-niece, Katie Cangemi; and three great-nephews, Ethan Heard, Tyler Heard and Cole Cangemi.
Pallbearers will be Brent Henslee, Heath Seyfarth, Lonnie Bosarge, Rayford Buckles, Ronnie Lewis and William Seyfarth.
Honorary pallbearers will be Amie Henslee, Randy Henslee, Chase Henslee, Abby Taylor, Paul Cangemi, Cole Cangemi, Katie Cangemi, Jason Taylor, Jeff Goodman, Keith Andrews, Ethan Heard, Tyler Heard, Ricky Raven and Keith Andrews.
