Mildred Grace Miller

NEEDHAM, Ala. — Graveside services for Mildred Grace Miller, 91, a native of Alabama and resident of Waynesboro, who died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at Pine View Health Center in Waynesboro, were Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Brightwater Cemetery in Needham, Ala., with the Rev. Donald Campbell officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Freeman Funeral Home, Inc., in Waynesboro.

Ms. Miller was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by one son, Edward Eugene Miller; one daughter, Bobbie Jewel Miller; two grandchildren; parents; and two brothers.

Survivors include three sons, James Miller and wife, Maggie, of Chatham, La., William Miller and wife, Brenda, of Shubuta and Joseph Neal Miller of Needham; one daughter, Betty Bench Parker and husband, William, of Ellington, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Rosa Miller; one sister, Nell Austin of Meridian; one sister-in-law, Mae Allen Caraway of Natchez; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or a charity organization of preference.
