NATCHEZ — Services for Roy Lee Williams, 61, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Sago officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
Mr. Williams was born Feb. 2, 1950, in Adams County, the son of Henry Williams and Rachel Johnson. He was formerly employed by Canal Barge Company.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers.
Survivors include three daughters, Yolanda Chandler and her husband, the Rev. Charles Chandler, Kierra Jones, all of Natchez, and Usleur Cook of Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Kennedy Gray, Seth Gregory Chandler, Brandon Chandler, Charles Chandler and Amanda Chandler; six sisters, Willie Mae Turner and husband, Wardell, Audrey Williams, Mary Ann Williams, Carolyn Fitzgerald, Alfreda Clark and Brenda Clark, both of Sibley; five brothers, Edward Lyles and wife, Annie, Leon Lyles, Charles Williams, Henry Williams and wife, Erma Jean, and Cedric Fitzgerald, all of Natchez; four sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Lyles, Mary Williams, Debra Lyles, all of Natchez, and Gaynell Lyles of Dallas; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Lyles Jr., James Lyles, Keoman Williams, Contreal Lyles, Randolph Williams and Gerald Bassett.
