NATCHEZ — The Natchez Police Department is looking for a 50-year-old man they believe used a gun to rob Walgreens Pharmacy on D’Evereux Drive Sunday morning.
According to a Natchez police report, Quinn Anthony Banks, 203 Oak Hill Drive, placed items on the counter at the pharmacy to purchase. When the cashier opened the cash register to give Banks change, he reportedly placed a gun on the counter and ordered the cashier to give him the money in the cash drawer.
Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said officers on the scene were assisted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and developed evidence at the scene to identify Banks as the suspect.
According to the report, an ACSO deputy identified Banks using a video surveillance tape.
A warrant has been issued for Banks, and anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the Natchez Police Department at 601-445-5565 or Crime Stoppers at 601-442-5000. A cash reward is available for information leading to Banks’ arrest.
