NATCHEZ — Services for Elizabeth Parker Conner, 67, of Natchez, who died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Wesley officiating.
Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Conner was born Sept. 24, 1944, in Natchez, the daughter of Willie and Wilhelmina James. She was a 1965 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Conner was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and Wharlest Jackson Elk Lodge. She enjoyed cooking and was a childcare provider.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Conner; three aunts; four uncles; and one brother, Sidney Bass.
Survivors include two sons, Sedrick Parker of Natchez and William Conner Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; four daughters, Sabrina Conner-Davis and fiancé, Cedrick, Demetris Conner and husband, Alec, Almeter Brown and husband, Louis, and Twanza Conner, all of Natchez; two brothers, Robert Lee James and wife, Gloria, of Natchez and Willie Parker of Defiance, Ohio; five sisters, Ella Hayes, Elmira Fleming, Lucille J. Anderson, Willie Barber Alexander and husband, Richard, all of Natchez, and Mary Lee King and husband, Joseph, of New Orleans; three sisters-in-law, Marie Singleton, Elizabeth Davis and Camille Barnes, all of Natchez; one brother-in-law, Jessie Davis of Natchez; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
