NATCHEZ — Services for Sanches Lamar Champ, 33, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, in New Orleans, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl A. Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Sanches was born Dec. 5, 1977, in Natchez, the son of Fannie Rose Champ and Sterling B. McDaniel. He was employed by Marquette Transportation LLC of Paducah, Ky.
He was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother and her husband, Cap; two daughters, San Que Sha Sias of Port Arthur, Texas and Lillian Strauder of Natchez; three brothers, Rance Champ of Natchez, Reginald McDaniel and wife, Anniece, of Garland, Texas and Zackery Washington and wife, Ania, of Dallas; two sisters, Angela McDaniel and Ashley McDaniel, both of New Orleans; four aunts, JoAnn White and husband, Cortez, Eva McDaniel Dunkley and husband, George, Gale Williams, all of Natchez, and Shirley McDaniel Hicks and husband, LaRue, of Memphis, Tenn.; two uncles, Lee Williams III and Walter McDaniel and wife, Emma, all of Natchez; his grandmother, Dorothy L. Champ of Natchez; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
