Thanks to those who helped find Gibbs

Our little brown border terrier dog was lost south of Natchez in the community of Kingston on Wednesday, Nov. 9.  He is a very special part of our family and when we realized how much wooded area we had to cover, our extended family of border terrier friends came from Alabama to help us canvas the Kingston area with fliers and posters.

We can see on Google Earth how far this amazing, tough little dog traveled.

We are incredibly thankful to say that Gibbs was recovered on Wednesday Nov. 16, a full week after he went into the woods.

He had lost more than 30 percent of his body weight, was covered in ticks but was in one piece.

We cannot say enough about the kindness the community of Kingston showed our family and friends.

Prayers, concerns and encouragement came from each encounter. What a fabulous community!

Thank you from the Stewarts and Gibbs!
