JONESVILLE — Services for Mabel E. White, 92, of Tyler, La., who died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mayna Church of God in Jonesville with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.
Burial will follow at Palo Alto Cemetery in Mayna under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home in Tyler.
Mrs. White was born July 14, 1919, in Jonesville, the daughter of Albert and Mary Jane White. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. She was employed as a sales clerk for 40 years.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Boo Boo” White; three brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Janice McGowen and husband, Bob; three grandchildren, Lori Foster, Blake McGowen and Brandi Lamberth and husband, Josh; three great-grandchildren, Luke Williams, Tyler and Nicholas Lamberth, all of Tyler; one brother, Clay White and wife, Jo, of Jena, La.; one sister, Dorothy Coley of Jonesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James White, Cloid White, Clerel White Jr., Charlie White, Langston Bass, Eddie Coley, Carl Pecanty and John Pecanty.
