NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Louise Williams Ware, 72, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at Glenburney Nursing Home, will be at 1 p.m. today at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Louise S. Williams and two brothers, Clarence E. Williams and Pearlie J. Williams.
Survivors include six sisters, Mattie Williams, Beatrice Jones, Virginia Washington and husband, the Rev. James Washington, Estelle Williams, Augustine Williams-McCaleb and husband, Carl, and Barbara Jones and husband, Herman; six brothers, Henry James Williams and wife, Mary, Ernest Williams and wife, Dinah, Tommy Williams and wife, Augustine, Walter Williams and wife, Velma, Charles Williams and wife, Mary, and Jesse Williams and wife, Laronda; one uncle, Alfred Strauder and wife, Edna; one aunt, Hattie Williams; a very special friend, Alphonse Christmas; four godsisters, Dorothy Louise Jones, Thelma Jones, Augustine Reynolds and Edna Rose Strauder; two special cousins, Ernestine Sherman and Rosie Skipper; 22 nieces and nephews; 26 great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Walter Williams Jr., John I. Williams Jr., Dennis Williams, Larry Williams, James E. Williams Sr., Johnny Williams Sr., Geno Walker and Jeremy Williams.
