VIDALIA — Services for Patricia Elaine “Red” Barnes, 46, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, was held at noon Saturday at Riverside Baptist Church.

Burial was followed at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation was from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Ms. Barnes was preceded in death by one son, Jason Dewayne Carter; grandparents, Eugene A. Barnes, Annie Janita Jones Barnes, Oliver Frances Brandenburg and Audrey Elaine Brandenburg; and one niece, Katy Barnes.

Survivors include one son, Joshua Barnes; mother, Mary Curry and husband, Jerry; father, Larry Louis Barnes and wife, Beatrice; three sisters, Annie Welch and husband, Brad, Barbara Long and husband, Thomas, and Cara LeMaire and husband Tee Ray; one brother, Larry Barnes Jr. and wife, Barbara; two grandchildren, Jaden Barnes and Rihanna Barnes; one niece; four nephews; one great niece; three great nephews and a number of other relatives and friends.
