WOODVILLE — Wilkinson County Christian Academy had no answer for Centreville Academy’s Katie Berry, who finished with a game-high 24 points as the Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Rams 51-29 Monday night.

Berry’s outstanding performance wasn’t the only factor in this rivalry game— Centreville’s defense was as well. The Lady Tigers held WCCA to single-digit scoring in all four quarters.

Centreville dominated WCCA throughout the first half. The first quarter was a sign of things to come for both teams. At the end of the opening quarter, Centreville led WCCA 18-7.
