VIDALIA — Services for Addie Elizabeth “Liz” Wright, 75, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia with the Rev. Harold Spillers of Rayville, La., officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wright was born March 31, 1936, in Chunky, the daughter of Luther Rigdon and Louise Rigdon Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde “Son” Wright; her parents; one son, Dewayne Wright; two brothers, William and Jerry Rigdon; and one sister, Sherri Lynn Rigdon.

Survivors include three sons, Rickey Wright and wife, Debbie, of Vidalia, Jerry Wright and wife, Terri, of Jackson and Kevin Wright and wife, Rachelle, of Lumberton; two daughters, Vickie Cummings and husband, Billy, and Rhonda Richardson and husband, Joe, all of Vidalia; three sisters, Myrtle Fulmer and husband, Dan, of Conway, Ark., Patsy Hartley and husband, Travis, of Vidalia and Jean Harper of Jasper, Ala.; one brother, Scott Manderson of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A very special thanks to the nursing staff, Dr. Barry Tillman, Dr. Randy Tillman and Promise Hospital for the excellent, professional care they gave our mother.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Atkins, Cary Collier, Chris Wright, Jeremy Tarver, Josh Wright and Randy Collier.
