Friday, Dec. 2:

Derrick D. Carson, 40, charged with speeding (67 mph in a 45 mph zone). Case remanded to files at request of officer.
Sarah Marie Dunbar, 29, found guilty after trial in absence of window tint. Fine set at $160. Dunbar also found guilty after trial in absence of DUS – revoked or suspended. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $425.
Anthony G. Jackson, 49, found guilty of DUS – revoked or suspended. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $425.
Kimberly Michelle Malone, 26, charge with window tint. Case dismissed – tint removed. Singleton also charged with window tint. Case remanded to files subject to pleading to other charges. Singleton also pleaded guilty to DUS – revoked or suspended. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $425.
Kimberly Monique Singleton, 29, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Fine set at $564.
Dannie Brinkley, 50, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days with four days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for six days. Fine set at $294 with $100 suspended. Must pay a fine of $194.
Charles Thomas Buchannan II, 20, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.
Amos Grinnell, 28, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
Devin Marvel, 19, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct – failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $444.
Lawanda Marvel, 39, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
Ledezma Rashaad Rankin, 21, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident property damage to attend vehicle. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $255.
Kendrick Smith, 19, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.
Casandra R. Trafficano, 31, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
Contrell Shelly pleaded guilty to simple assault – domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $594. Also has three bench warrants.

Monday, Dec. 5

Montrell Arenz Beverly, 27, found guilty of simple assault. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $619. Beverly also found guilty of petit larceny. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $400. Restitution set at $449.99 to Sandra Robinson.
Emerick Henderson, 34, charged with public drunkenness. Reduced to warning by officer.
John Courtney Holleman Jr., 25, charged with public drunkenness. Reduced to warning by officer.
Zachary P. Hicks, 23, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Tuesday, Dec. 6

Eddie Jones, 44, charged with credit card of numbers use with intent to defraud. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Anthony Troy Simpson, 29, charged with felony aggravated assault – domestic violence. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.
Brandon Rayshawr Thompson, 19, pleaded guilty to reduced misdemeanor charge of trespassing less than larceny. Sentenced to 120 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Fine set at $450. Restitution set at $100. No contact with victim or other defendant. Also, make and keep an appointment with Southwest Mental for evaluation and written report.
George Edward Byrd, 23, charged with two counts of armed robbery. Case bound over to a grand jury on each charge. Bond set at $70,000 on each count. Byrd also charged with possession or carrying a concealed weapon – felon. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $30,000.
Datarrius Matthews, 18, charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $65,000.
Latravis Kewain Clay, 21, charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $65,000.
Michael Lyons pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $666 with $333 already paid. Must pay remaining fine of $333.

Thursday, Dec. 8

D’Andre Thomas, who pleaded guilty on Sept. 19, 2011 to burglary of a storehouse, was sentenced in Judge Sanders’ court to the Regimented Inmate Discipline Program under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Monday, Nov. 21

Cartrell Dewayne Carradine pleaded guilty in Judge Johnson’s court to felony burglary of an automobile. Sentenced to six years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with the Court retaining jurisdiction for one year for placement of the defendant into the R.I.D. program with the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Must pay all court cost and a prosecution fee of $200.00.

Friday, Nov. 18

LeWanda Elissa Marvel was indicted with accessory after the fact to felony shoplifting on Aug. 5, 2011. Case entered nolle prosequi in Judge Johnson’s court.
